Charity School Projects

One of the most common application of charitable organizations is to work with local schools. The educational institutions offer a window into the local community by bringing together students from all different types of backgrounds. To help students that are struggling with their assignments, many charitable groups offer tutoring sessions to keep the students up to date. The tutors are often local parents and members of the community that donate their time to help.

Another common charity project that uses local schools are food drives. In these types of projects, the children are encouraged to bring canned food from home to donate to the cause. In general, these are usually set up as a contest, with the class that donates the most food receiving a prize for their efforts. By setting it up as a competition with a prize, the students will work harder to make sure that their class wins and that the food drive receives enough canned goods.
