Charity Awards around the World

To acknowledge the efforts that are being given by countless individual volunteers and organizations around the world, there is now Charity Awards that are received by those that go above and beyond the call of duty. The Charity Awards International organization is based in the United States and acts as the judges for deciding who will receive the award each year. Winners are selected from across the globe in recognition of their service.

While the individual winners of the Charity Awards receive much of the spotlight, the organizations who win the award often are able to gain more funding because of their Charity Award status. In this manner, the award is a way of increasing the projects that are completed by these groups and creating more opportunities for disadvantaged people to be helped. Recent winners of the organizational Charity Awards include the Romanian Children’s Fund and the Make A Wish Foundation.
